We're famous for hosting the largest ocean swim in the world, the iconic Powercor Lorne Pier to Pub ocean water swim and Powercor Lorne Mountain to Surf Run in January each year. Our Club, established in 1947, is located in the beautiful coastal town of Lorne overlooking Loutitt Bay on Victoria's scenic Great Ocean Road.. 1.2km open water swim for all ages from the Lorne pier to the Lorne beach. This event, with an iconic 40 year plus event history in Lorne, is a swim protected from most adverse weather conditions. Ran by volunteers from the Lorne Surf Lifesaving club, all proceeds go towards supporting the provision of lifesaving services at Lorne.
